Sprinklers - The Necessary Evil!
Over all the years that I have done landscaping, there is one thing that I never really enjoyed. That was installing sprinkler systems! It was one of those things that had to be. I know some contractors love doing them, but I'm not sure why. You just do a lot of back-breaking digging, throw in the pipe and heads and then bury it up. And repairs...that was another issue, especially if it wasn't a system you installed. I didn't see much fun in it! That is why I called them the necessary evil! I do enjoy them when they are done though!
Maybe you agree with me, maybe you don't. Either way, in many states it is necessary to have a sprinkler system in order to keep a greener yard. Sprinklers do save a lot of time and effort and can be a water saver as well. What better way to keep your plants healthy and green all through the growing months!
Despite my lackluster like of them, there are some pretty cool sprinkler products these days! There are highly efficient rotors and sprays, drip tubing for all kinds of applications, sprinkler valves of all sizes, and Smart controllers for easy programming of your system. There are even weather sensors to help you water more efficiently based on the weather history and current conditions in your specific area! Can it get any better than this?! There is such a wide variety of professional products to help you get the job done. Check here for what we have available on our site.
Check out the images that we have pinned on our Pinterest board as well! You might get a few ideas for your own sprinkler projects.
Whether you install them yourself or have them installed for you, you will be glad that you have it. At one time or another you may need to replace a head that you ran over or a controller that stopped working, but hopefully that is the extent of your future repairs! A system done correctly with the right products will serve you well for many years to come!
